Hello Sunshine

Yellow is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors.  My husband and I registered for the Emma Dinnerware below from Pottery Barn and, feeling like I needed a little punch of color/sunshine, I recently purchased a yellow striped sweater and yellow tank.  Feeling the winter blues?  Why not try incorporating a little yellow into your daily wardrobe or drink your daily cup of coffee from a cheery, yellow mug?

If my husband agreed, I would definitely purchase these yellow shorts for him.  Love them.

In Memory of...

I am so proud of my husband and his co-workers/friends who ran in the Charleston Half Marathon.  As a team, they ran carrying a stretcher with a 150+ pound dummy in memory of Deputy Kurt Wyman.

Deputy Wyman served with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and was killed in the line of duty during a domestic dispute.  The night Deputy Wyman was killed, his wife went into labor with their second child. 

Thank you to all those who serve our country and risk their own lives to keep us safe.

Two Thousand Eleven

2011 was full of milestones.  I became a wife, a homeowner, an aunt... 

Reflecting on the good times and my many blessings today.
