Friday

Although I'm feeling a little under the weather (most likely due to the excessive amount of pollen blanketing pretty much everything), it's Friday and my family is on their way into town.  Here's to a weekend filled with laughs, good conversation and some running (it's Bridge Run weekend here in Charleston).

Lunchtime Strolls

Yesterday was the kind of day that called for spending as much time outside as possible.  Knowing that we were going to be spending the evening in the yard mulching, I decided to go for a little walk on my lunch break.  I clocked in approximately 35 minutes and it was the perfect mid-day pick-me-up.

I truly live in one of the most beautiful places.

No, this post isn't about making your own compost pile.  However, I have been thinking about starting one in our backyard.  It is the eve of St. Patrick's Day and this Bailey family is psyched!  Since St. Patrick's Day falls on a Saturday this year, we plan on heading downtown early, watching the parade and taking full advantage of the beautiful weather we've been having.  

Jack is so excited, he can't hardly stand it.
