I'm back... and I'm 30. Wow.
This may come as a surprise to some, but 30 feels pretty good. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't exactly looking forward to the big 3-0. T even asked me if we were recognizing my birthday this year lol. But, then I got to thinking. My twenties were great. I experienced a lot. I moved from Pennsylvania to South Carolina, entered the "real world" (aka got a full time job), lived on my own, gained confidence, and met the man that I now call my husband.
So, now as a thirty year old, I am married to the man of my dreams, have an amazing family, have wonderful friends, and live in the best place on earth. I have confidence in myself and my relationships and look forward to growing our family. My faith is strong and I trust the path that God has chosen for me.
My goal for my thirties is to live in the moment and soak in all the little things that make life so beautiful.
"Don't cry because it is over,
smile because it happened."
How did I spend my thirtieth birthday? I spent the long weekend with my mom and T, antiquing (no purchases), soaking in some much needed sun, and DIY'ing.
Oh, and Friday night, I was surprised with a birthday dinner at
Social with some very special friends and family members.
Lots of laughs, delicious food, and a little Pinot Noir. Perfection.
I will be posting more on our DIY projects, so be sure to check back!
xoxo,
from this thirty year old
