10 Things...

...I want my daughter to know.

 

1.  No matter what, your Daddy and I love you.  We may not always be your best friends, but we will always have your best interest at heart.  Please remember that.

 

2.  You are beautiful.

 

3.  You can be quiet and confident at the same time.

 

4.  Study, study, study.  It will pay off, I promise.

 

5.  Choose your friends wisely.  Quality sure outweighs quantity in this category.

 

6.  Spend time with your family and really enjoy it.

 

7.  Be brave.  Don't be afraid to pursue the things you feel passionate about.  You may not always be the best, but you will regret not trying.

 

8.  When you get your first apartment, own a hammer and a screwdriver and know how to use them.  Know how to reset a tripped fuse, replace the AC filter, and change a flat tire.  Leave the out of reach light bulbs for Daddy to change.  Grandpa always changed those for me too.

 

9.  You are beautiful.

 

10.  Marry a man who is just like your Daddy.  Trust me on this one.
